News Release:
The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown, Maryland.
Between July 23, 2011 and August 22, 2011, police units responded to Super Salvage located in California, Maryland regarding reports of burglary’s occurring during the night time hours. Large amounts of copper were stolen from the establishment during the burglaries. The case was forwarded to BCI for investigation. On September 8, 2011, BCI detectives arrested Adam D. Davis, age 24 of Lexington Park, Maryland for the burglary’s and theft’s at Super Salvage. Davis, a former employee of the business, was subsequently charged with Second Degree Burglary, Theft under $1,000, Theft $1,000 - $10,000 and Theft Scheme $10,000 - $100,000. Davis was incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

Republican State Delegate, Kelly Schulz, from Frederick County will be our guest speaker at the Republican Women of Charles County (RWCC) June 6, 2011 meeting, being held at Mimi's Cafe in Waldorf. She is one of 43 Republicans of the 188 member Legislature. Women represent only 20% of the entire legislature in Mary...land today.
Please take a look at some of the information RWCC sends to you from the "Republican State Caucus" and from other State Senators and Delegates. You can also do a little of your own research about what is currently going on in the state government so you will be in the know when you come to hear Del. Schulz's opinions and strategies about current legislation in the works in Annapolis. There will be time set aside for questions.
All your friends and relatives are welcome. The members of the Charles County Central Committee, The Republican Women of St. Mary's and Calvert Counties, The Young Republicans Club, and the ladies of the MFRW membership are included in this invitation. The public will be invited via the MD Independent.
